Fairview Community Parks and Playgrounds

Flavelle Park is a space for year round fun for kids of all ages.  The playground is open 7x24x365, The park is our winter skating rink, our spring meeting space, our fall movie spot and great shady gathering space all year.

Flint Park – Just up the hill from Fairmount Drive is a quiet less known playground.  Flint is a lesser know spot but has much to offer.  Up on the hill above Flint Road, we have a playground at the north end, the Pump Track at the south end with a pathway through some quiet shaded spots.

The playground at Fulham and Fyffe at the Elementary School, in the same green space as Fairview Park.

Fawn Park playground is hidden on the SE corner of Fawn Crescent for a quiet, private play space.

There are also smaller green spaces on Fountain Road and at Foster Road and Fawn Crescent.

Fairview Park – Sparking Lot!!

Fairview Park, located on the site of the former ice rink will continue to transform over the next couple years.  It already shares soccer fields with the schools, has lots of flat grass space for all kinds of games plus the ball diamond.  We use the parking lot for the annual Spring Fling and Bottle drives.  and new this year, we have created the Sparking Lot as a gathering space for family fun and games.  Anchored by our community storage seacan complete with lots of games for all the kids.  Here is slideshow of the transformation over the past year:
