The Fairview Community Association 55+ Collective was pleased to offer two virtual golf events for our local Fairview community Seniors. With the help of JJ Golf (7825 Flint Road SE), we hosted indoor virtual golf events on the mornings of Jan 21 and Feb 18. We had good turnout of about 14 people each session.
It seemed like everyone had a great time playing beautiful green courses from around the world while it was cold and snowy here in Calgary. I especially enjoyed beating up the beautiful flowers and shrubs in the rough of a Hawaiian golf course… 🙂
We will look to hold more similar events next year, maybe even setting up a weekly league if there is interest.
