Community Board Members Wanted
Are you interested in meeting people and building friendships? Do you want to make a difference in your community?
The Fairview Community Association is looking for new board members to join our current pool of diverse, positive, and engaging directors. Board members are volunteers, and the time commitment is only a few hours per month.
This is a great way to get involved in your community, at an exciting time in Fairview’s history. Projects like our recent playgrounds revitalization, the Pump Track project, the on-going Fairview Park planning process, and events like Movie in the Park and Explore Fairview were all initiated by volunteer board members.
Bring your skills, work as part of our team, give back to your community, develop leadership skills, meet your neighbours, and best of all, have fun! At our upcoming AGM in the fall, we will elect our Board of Directors for the next year. If you are interested in joining, we encourage you to attend any monthly Board Meeting.
New board members are typically elected at our Annual General meeting, but can be nominated and elected anytime. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact a member of our current board.
