The Fairview Community Association has established a Development and Planning Committee to monitor and provide feedback on significant development projects proposed within and near the community. The committee will include other board members and residents in consolidating perspectives on projects and provide feedback to the City of Calgary and developers.
You’ll be able to keep tabs on development through postings on:
- the FCA website at fairviewcommunity.ca/planning
- FCA social media (Facebook and Instagram)
- Fairview in Focus (this newsletter)
- the email newsletter
- physical signs in the community when necessary.
There are two major proposed development projects in the area – Midtown Station (approximately south of Glenmore Trail and east of Macleod Trail, including the current Fisher Park), and Heritage Plaza (the property to the southeast of the Macleod/Heritage intersection where London Drugs is currently located).
