Ryder has the most adorable, fluffy, energetic Pomsky dog. A Pomsky, in case you aren’t sure, is a Pomeranian Husky. Her name is Nia, and she is nearly four years old. Nia was born in Edmonton and is from a breeder. Ryder’s family went and picked her up when she was eight weeks old. They had to bring her back to Calgary. She disliked the car so much that she pooped all over it. Gross!
Other than that incident, she has been the perfect addition to their family. Like everyone in the house, she has blue eyes. Her fur colours – black and white – match the hair colours of everyone in the house and she also has a January birthday! Talk about a perfect fit!
Nia loves to play tug of war with her rope and fetch with her ball. In the summer she can get pretty hot, because she has a double coat, which is two layers of fur. This comes in handy in the winter though because she loves rolling, jumping, and shoving her face in the snow.
She once caught a mouse in the backyard and Ryder caught her chewing on it and playing with it. Ryder didn’t want her to bring it in the house, so he told his parents and they got rid of it.
Nia is the nicest dog you will ever meet. She loves visitors and will likely jump on you and lick you a lot!
