Fairview’s Family Festival and Film Night! Friday, September 11th, Flavelle Park

 

Are you ready for some exciting, free, family fun right here in Fairview? Fairview’s premiere annual social event is coming up fast on Friday, September 12th. The fun for Fairview’s Family Festival and Film Night begins at 6:00pm Admission is free! Be sure to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray.

We encourage all residents of Fairview to walk to this event to be respectful of local residents!

The highlights of the evening:

Ranch BBQ YYC food truck will be parked at our event for food to purchase. Please support their businesses!

Bouncy castles provided by Carnivals for Kids at Heart

Kids games provided and run by the City of Calgary Community and Neighbourhood Services

Facepainting and balloon artistry by Terrrrrific Face Painting

Door prizes and giveaways provided by Moxie’s Restaurants, Toppler Bowl  and the Fairview Community Association

Free bottled water provided by MLA Jonathan Denis’ Calgary Acadia office and Shopper’s Drug Mart (Acadia)

Free snack bag kettle corn provided by Sugar Creek Kettle Corn Company. Larger bags will be available for purchase.

The evening will be topped off with an exclusive showing of The Lego Movie, courtesy of Fresh Air Cinemas, expected to start around 8:30pm.
