About Us

Fairview Community Association

The Fairview Community Association is made up of active Fairview residents who volunteer their time and efforts to make this community a better place to live. The Board of Directors meet once a month, from September through June, on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7pm. We usually meet in the boardroom in the lower hall of the In-Definite Arts building, although occasional meetings may be held off-site.

Our vital works includes providing annual events for our residents such as our Spring Fling clean-up, Hazardous Waste Roundup, Skate with Santa, programs such as our snow shoveling program, regeneration efforts including our ongoing playground regeneration, and liaison with the City of Calgary with important civic issues, bylaws, developments, etc.

Our Vision:

To promote and enhance a healthy, safe and productive environment for the residents of Fairview by providing access to programs, services and information, all while establishing a sense of community identity and belonging.

You can become involved with your community association in two important ways:

Become a member – when you purchase a membership in your community association, your dues are used to offer you and your neighbours various programs and activities.

Become a volunteer – Community associations rely on volunteers to make things happen.  There are many ways you can volunteer to make your community a more enjoyable place to live.  At the same time you will make new friends and learn skills. Click here for more info
