Inside and Out of the Fairview Family Festival & Film Night!


Thank you Fairview! Another magnificent night for our community – the Fairview Family Festival & Film Night on September 11th was a huge success with perfect weather, over 400 in attendance, successful partnerships with community members/businesses, lots of buzz and an amazing pre-release movie to boot, all taking place in our beautiful Flavelle Park!

A big thank you to The City of Calgary’s Ward Community Events Fund and AGLC for providing community funding to cover a significant portion of this event!

Free  kettle corn was provided by Sugar Creek Kettle Corn Company, yet another Fairview-owned and operated company. Thank you to Norm and Michelle!

Wilk’s Booth and Fiasco food trucks for providing some stellar nutrition for all the festival goers!

Bouncy castle provided by Adventure Bounce, owned and operated by local Fairview residents!

Door prizes and giveaways provided by Moxie’s Restaurants and Toppler Bowl (also Fairview/family owned and operated). Special thanks to Ashley and the Moxies team and Dave and the crew at Toppler Bowl.

Bottled water was provided by Shoppers Drug Mart – Acadia

Kids games provided by the City of Calgary Community and Neighbourhood Services. Thanks to Brenda Jay for providing these and the Youth Volunteer Corps for providing the volunteers to help run the kids’ games.

Some terrific facepainting was seen all around the park – Facepainting and balloon artistry by Terrrrrific Face Painting

The evening was topped off with an exclusive showing of Inside Out (in pre-release), courtesy of Fresh Air Cinemas.
